The people

Bradley & Alyce

Alyce had begun playing piano at a young age but never pursued it professionally. When she and Bradley took over abc Pianos, she was completely new to the piano industry and had no previous experience in piano transport. That soon changed. Alyce has since become highly trained and experienced in the transportation of both upright and grand pianos, working alongside Bradley to safely relocate some of the most valuable and delicate instruments imaginable.

Bradley’s journey into the piano world began even earlier. He started playing piano at the age of four, although other interests eventually took him in different directions. He later pursued music professionally and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. In 2009, Bradley began his career as a piano technician. By 2011, he had completed his professional studies in Melbourne as one of the first intake students at the Australasian School of Piano Technology. With more than 13 years of professional experience before taking over abc Pianos, Bradley brought an extensive technical background to the business.

He has also held several industry positions, including President, Vice President and Treasurer of professional piano industry organisations including the Piano Tuners & Technicians Guild of Victoria, the Australian Piano Tuners & Technicians Association and the International Association of Piano Builders & Technicians. Many television viewers may also recognise Bradley from the first Australian series of “The Piano”, which aired on ABC TV in 2025. But perhaps more importantly, Bradley remains passionate about bringing professional piano standards to regional Victoria and genuinely helping people connect with pianos and music.
